Sophie is a highly motivated, dedicated professional with a wealth of transferable skills, keen to extend these to make a real contribution to a business or organisation.

With a background in corporate retail buying and over 20 years’ experience across buying, merchandising, operations, supplier management, project co-ordination and commercial strategy, Sophie brings a proactive approach to supporting businesses behind the scenes.

After building her career with brands including Tesco, Mothercare and Arcadia, and working with suppliers in Europe and the Far East, Sophie re-trained as a bookkeeper and then launched Interactive VA Ltd to offer a more modern, flexible style of support — combining transferable commercial experience with traditional and creative business services.

Sophie understands first-hand the pressure of juggling business, family life and constant demands, which is why Sophie believes strong support should not only improve productivity, but also create more clarity, calm and balance. This is why Interactive VA Ltd has a unique USP by offering wellness-led services, such as yoga and mindfulness, offering a more holistic approach to supporting both business owners and their teams. This helps create a calmer, more sustainable way of working.

Outside of business, Sophie challenges herself with running marathons, taking the dedication and resilience that this builds and applies it to her professional life, too.
